Our responsibility

A wise man once said with great power comes great responsibility. Although I am no Don Corleone, I feel that same responsibity for my extended family at my operation. I take the reponsibility of keeping my staff employed and safe very seriously. Just like family, we love, laugh and fight but in the end we protect each other.

This weekend we lost a member of our extended family. Our own Michele of the insurance agency has to deal with the tragic loss of Manny, her fiance and the father of her two children. We are all saddened by this loss and we will be there for her and her family in whatever capacity she needs without exception. A real good guy and an honest provider, he showed us all that regardless of what you do in life it is important to take your responsibility serious. This he did.

In this time of Thanksgiving, it is more important than ever to remember we are all responsible to support each other, not just in times of crisis. This also goes for total strangers. Do the right thing and pay it forward. In Manny's honor, take a week to do something good for a stranger and remind yourself of your awesome responsibility.

PWC Brokerage

Back about 15 years ago, I started to diversify from just a marine insurance agency and started selling small inflatables and a few used personal watercraft. Strange as it sounds, then no one was focusing on the pre owned PWC market and NJ had only one other inflatable dealer. Inflatables grew slowly but what took off like a rocket was the used PWC's. In our first two years, we sold 75 machines, all on a consigned brokerage manner. It was a great find for me. Unfortunately, we had lost our lease and moved to a larger facility but were prohibited on selling PWC there so we focused on the inflatable boats and grew that section into a very nice operation currently representing Achilles, Mercury, Walker Bay and now Zodiac.

With our new location, I decided to go back to one of my true passions, PWC's. I recently placed two ads and within two weeks, we got in 15 machines for consignment sale. Most came from existing or past customers who either insure, bought or sold them thru me. It was nice to see our clients happy we are back at one of our core businesses. It is my goal now to expand the operation to now include accesories and parts for all brands. Keep an eye on the web site for your next toy!

Welcome to our blog!

This may sound strange considering how tech savy we are here but I finally decided to start blogging. What else am I to do at 6am when my young Anthony wakes up me, the birds outside along with anyone within 100 yards of the house. You see its his job to get everyone up and motivated to get going.

It is my goal here to let all our customers and friends know just whats going on here at Campisano Marine Center and for you to let us know what we can do better to serve your boating needs.
